Linkfast to Provide Applanix Products, Solutions for Land and Air Mobile Mapping Customers in Taiwan

POS AV is a hardware and software system specifically designed for Direct Georeferencing of airborne sensor data.


Applanix, a Trimble Company, announced last week that Linkfast Technology Co., has been selected to provide products, support and service for Applanix’ air and land customers in Taiwan.
Working with Applanix, Linkfast adds to its range of products with the addition of Applanix’ Position and Orientation System (POS) for airborne and land vehicles including the popular POS AV and POSTrack, POS LV, DG for UAV OEM board sets, and POSPac MMS software. Working with Linkfast, Applanix gains expert representation in the mobile mapping market in Taiwan, according to an Aug. 2 press release.
The Applanix POS AV system for airborne vehicles is a hardware and software system specifically designed for Direct Georeferencing (DG) of airborne sensor data. By integrating a GNSS with inertial technology, POS AV enables geospatial projects to be completed more efficiently, effectively, and economically. OEM board sets are available, including those designed for use on UAVs (Applanix’ DG for UAV). POS LV is a compact, fully integrated, turnkey Position and Orientation System utilizing integrated inertial technology designed to generate stable, reliable, and repeatable positioning solutions for land-based vehicle applications. POSPac Mobile Mapping Suite is Applanix’ next generation software for DG of mobile mapping sensors using GNSS and inertial technology.
